On July 15, the UG School hosted a significant meeting attended by Johanna V. Araujo, Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions at CALTECH, and Jeremy Weprich, a representative from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The meeting aimed to acquaint our students with the admission processes and opportunities at these prestigious universities, thereby supporting their future educational and career aspirations.
The representatives provided comprehensive insights into CALTECH's undergraduate programs, highlighting the institution's high academic standards and innovative research opportunities. They also detailed the university admission procedures, including application forms, personal motivation letters, and interviews.
At the conclusion of the meeting, students had the chance to engage with Johanna and Jeremy, asking questions not only about the application process but also about student life, housing, and career development opportunities. The enthusiastic and active participation of the students underscored their high motivation and determination.
The students gained valuable information and advice, which will aid them in successfully preparing for the admissions process at CALTECH, MIT, and other top universities.
Such meetings reinforce UG School's commitment to providing students with excellent education and preparation for their futures. We are confident that our students will leverage this knowledge to continue their academic and professional journeys successfully.
