UG School continues to lead in innovative educational approaches and advanced teaching methodologies that foster students’ skills and nurture creative thinking. For the 2024-25 academic year, UG School introduces a new program for its 9th-grade students, focusing on the architectonics of thematic composition portfolios. This initiative is designed to enhance students' logical, organizational, and creative capabilities.
A thematic composition portfolio is a curated collection in which students organize visual materials, texts, illustrations, and thematic works, reflecting their unique perspectives. By developing a portfolio, students gain experience in structuring and refining ideas, advancing creative presentation abilities, and strategically presenting their work.
The program’s curriculum emphasizes three core areas of focus:
🔻Conceptual Understanding – Students learn to identify and gather relevant information on a given theme, outline key ideas, and build a coherent conceptual framework.
🔻Visual Precision – Close attention is paid to the visual aspects, including details, composition, and aesthetics, making each portfolio compelling and engaging.
🔻Critical and Analytical Thinking – Students develop analytical skills, learning to evaluate and critique various ideas, which strengthens their approach to idea development and presentation.
