UG School’s Reading Club – “Book Shelf” Intellectual Competition
One of the most engaging and meaningful activities of UG School’s elementary level is the Reading Club, which aims to foster reading motivation and improve literacy skills among students.
On May 21–22, within the framework of this club, an in-school intellectual competition called “Book Shelf” was held for grades IV–VI. The project is modeled after one of the most successful TV programs aired by the Public Broadcaster, also named “Book Shelf.”
The competition had two stages:
The questions were based on both Georgian and international children’s literature, as well as mythology, enhancing students' analytical and cognitive abilities.
Winning teams received memorable prizes for their participation and success.
