Our Students at an International Science Camp in China

For the second time, five outstanding students from UG School’s secondary level participated in one of the largest and most prestigious international science camps — The Belt and Road Teenager Maker Camp & Teacher Workshop, traditionally held in China.

The camp has been organized since 2017 by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China in collaboration with local government authorities. Its primary goals are to:

• Foster intercultural understanding
• Spark students’ interest in scientific innovation
•  Promote the exchange of experience among STEM educators

 Our students had the opportunity to collaborate in cutting-edge scientific laboratories alongside peers from over 30+ countries, engaging in experiments and team-based projects. 

 In 2025, the camp took place in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, with over 200 participants in attendance.

Notably, during the cultural evening, a Georgian song performed by one of our students received enthusiastic praise and admiration from the audience. 

The camp became an unforgettable experience for each participant, providing inspiration and motivation to pursue the path of science and innovation.
