On February 8-9, 2020,), a tournament for young physicists was held at the Phillips Exeter Academy in Hampshire (USA) . The 9th-10th grade students of UG School participated in it with the full funding of the University of Georgia and UG school.
In the first phase, a qualifying round was held at the school for high school students, and the winners of the competition trained under the Cambridge program throughout the year.
UG School students participated in a high-level international tournament for the first time and took the 5th prize among the representatives of 14 schools.
It is noteworthy that the UG school physics teacher, Mikheil Kiani, was invited to the jury of the next physics tournament.
After the tournament, the teens took a cognitive tour of the Harvard Geological Museum and the MIT-Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
