Foreign Languages

In the era of globalization, Georgia has entered a linguistically and culturally diverse space. Without knowledge of foreign languages, it is not possible to integrate in this space and fully realize one's personal abilities. The Department of Foreign Languages unites teachers of English, Russian and German. Colleagues constantly and actively collaborate with each other and share innovations in the learning process. They take care of self-development, effectively select textbooks and develop thematic plans according to the curriculum.

The goals and objectives of Foreign Language teaching serve to achieve goals such as:

• Nurturing a free individual who shares national and worldwide human values and will be able to contribute to the formation and development of civil society.
• Will be ready to make important decisions such as choosing the right path, getting involved in active lifestyle, getting professional education, continuing education.
• Promoting the development of civic consciousness and creative skills in the student - tolerance, personal and public responsibility, independence, self-development, critical thinking, self-expression.
• The student should develop speaking skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking) in two foreign languages;
•  Develop the ability to communicate successfully with people from other cultures;

In the process of learning Foreign Languages it is necessary :

• The student develops a positive attitude towards linguistic and cultural diversity and realizes it as a private manifestation of the diversity of the world;

• To develop the ability to understand different cultural contexts and texts;

• To prepare for cooperation with representatives of different linguistic and cultural identities;

• Develop the ability to learn languages effectively. For this educational purpose.
