History and Archeology

In the UG School - The history of both the world and Georgia is thoroughly taught. Due to certain topics, schoolchildren and teenagers are given practical and outreach activities. For example, in regards to archaeological topics, students go on two-day excursions with tents in historical sites, conduct mock archaeological excavations, learn the restoration of pottery, make stone age tools, visit home museums. In addition, scientific tours abroad are held several times a year, which includes visits to world museums and technical laboratories such as the Louvre in France, the Copernicus and Chopin Museum in Poland, the Ethnographic Museum and the CERN Laboratory in Switzerland. In UG school, such teaching is aimed at the harmonious development of young people, for the full manifestation of their physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual potential.
