Department of Technical Subjects

In the modern era, Mathematics is an integral part of life. It is used in all areas of human activity: Science and Technology, Medicine, Economics, Environmental Protection and Rehabilitation, Social Decision-making. Also noteworthy is the special role of Mathematics in the development of mankind and the formation of modern civilization. The development of Digital Technologies, a better understanding of the structure of space-time, the discovery and description of many patterns in nature clearly demonstrate the scientific and cultural value of Mathematics. Most importantly, Mathematics contributes to the development of human mental abilities. It enables effective, concise and unambiguous communication. Mathematics is used to visualize complex situations, to explain events, and to predict their consequences. Abstract systems and theoretical models created in Mathematics are used to study regularities, analyze situations and solve problems (Esg. 2018-2024. Article 61).

 

Aims and Objectives of the Department:

 

1. Develop students' thinking, discussing, reasoning, event and fact analysis skills;

2. Develop the ability of Mathematical modeling to solve practical, everyday problems;

3.Developing a line of reasoning, searching for alternative ways, justifying the correctness and effectiveness of the decision made;

4. Preparation for the next stage of study or professional activities; Transfer the knowledge needed to solve life tasks and develop the ability to use this knowledge: Possession of work organization methods and skills;

5. Learning - improving the quality of teaching, implementing the requirements for Mathematics and IT;

6. Discussion-understanding of new methods;

7. Compilation of learning plan according to the national syllabus,curriculum;

8. Work on student assessment forms and techniques;

9. Monitoring the teaching process of Mathematics and IT;

10. Research the problems in the teaching of the subject and search for ways to solve them;

11. Involvement of students in competitions, Olympiads and conferences;

12. Active involvement of the members of the Department in the work of the Department;

13. Study / care for innovative methods of self-development and teaching;

14. Establish forms of teacher and student encouragement;

15. Development of individual curricula if necessary;

16. Sharing the experience of other schools;

17. Development and implementation of student development programs and assessment systems;

18. Facilitate various activities to improve the study of Mathematics and Information Communication Technologies;

19. Organizing internal school Olympiads and events;

20. Organizing students' participation in conferences, competitions and other events;

 21. Use of modern technologies in the learning process;

22. Provide and maintain a list of literature required for teaching the subject to the school library.
