Project Goal:
The goal of the University of Georgia Investment Fund is to teach students the basic principles of investing, which will help them achieve financial independence, make the right investment decisions, and expand their career opportunities. The project promotes the accumulation of money for the future, the development of investment management skills, and a better understanding of financial markets, which allows participants to understand risks and make informed financial decisions.
Mission:
The program includes two important stages - theoretical and practical training, which ensures the development of practical and analytical skills in the field of investment.
Theoretical part: Participants will learn about the terminology of financial markets, investment strategies, and various financial instruments, including American stock exchanges, foreign exchange and crypto markets (NYSE, Nasdaq, CME, Forex, Crypto Exchanges). The training includes discussions, real-life examples and assignments that will help participants assess risks and develop analytical thinking.
Practical part: School students will participate in simulated investments in teams, where they will learn investment portfolio management, diversification, reporting and analysis of results.
Outcome
Through the program, school students will acquire practical and theoretical knowledge about investments and financial markets, which will allow them to make informed financial decisions in the future.
