Triumphant Victory of Georgian Folk Dance Children’s Ensemble “UG” in Berlin

On February 28, 2026, the Georgian Folk Dance Children’s Ensemble “UG” achieved a remarkable victory at the prestigious International Dance Competition Berlin held in Berlin, Germany.

The competition brought together around 300 participants from 21 countries, including the United States, Ukraine, Italy, and Germany, showcasing a diverse range of international dance ensembles. 

By the decision of an international jury composed of 14 professionals representing different countries, Ensemble “UG” delivered an outstanding performance. All three dances presented by the ensemble were awarded Gold Medals. 

In addition, the ensemble received the Highest Award for Best Choreography, highlighting the exceptional artistry, technique, and creativity of Georgian folk dance.
