UG School students achieved remarkable success at the International Science Festival “I-FEST 2026,” held in Tunisia, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals.
Competing among more than 500 participants from 40 countries, our team excelled in the fields of Environmental Science, Engineering, and Life Sciences, proudly representing Georgia on the global stage.

A notable achievement was the recognition of the project
“Iron(III) Citrate as a Novel Eco-Friendly Coagulant for Microplastic Removal from Water”,
which was ranked among the Top 10 projects in Environmental Science.
The students’ performance of a traditional Georgian dance during the cultural evening also received high praise, showcasing the beauty and richness of Georgian culture.
