At UG School, a Georgian Language Week was held under the leadership of the Department of Georgian Language and Literature .
The initiative aimed to deepen students’ interest in their native language, foster creative skills, and promote a high standard of linguistic culture .
Throughout the week, a variety of engaging and age-appropriate activities were carefully planned and successfully implemented .
Grade 1 students took part in a creative activity where they “sculpted” words, making the learning process both enjoyable and educational .
Grade 6 students created calligrams, combining text and visual form in a harmonious way, which further enriched their creative thinking and linguistic expression .
Meanwhile, Grade 5 students worked on bringing phraseological expressions to life and explored the topic of barbarisms, helping them better understand the importance of preserving the purity of the Georgian language and using accurate speech in everyday life .
