Earth Day at UG School
Earth Day at UG School was celebrated through a variety of engaging and creative activities. The event was implemented as part of an integrated project led by the Aesthetic and Natural Sciences Department at the primary level.
The project aimed to raise students’ environmental awareness, foster a sense of responsibility toward nature, and develop their creative skills.
As part of the activities, students prepared informative posters, created Earth-themed models, and delivered engaging presentations in Science, where they discussed environmental challenges and possible solutions.
A particularly enjoyable part of the day took place in the school’s outdoor space, where, with the support of Grade 7 students, younger pupils had their faces painted with Earth Day symbols, adding a fun and memorable touch to the celebration.
