David Tatunashvili will travel to Hampshire (USA) with full funding from the University of Georgia and the school.

David Tatunashvili, a 7th grade student at UG School, will travel to Hampshire (USA) on February 8-9 for a science tournament at Phillips Exeter Academy with full funding from the University of Georgia and the school.

David is distinguished by high academic achievement, he is an outstanding student of the Cambridge program. That is why the school decided that David, along with the team would also attend the event the planned tournament in the States.

 The team of 10th graders from the UG School will take part in a science tournament planned at the Phillips Exeter Academy in Hampshire (USA) with the full funding of the University Of Georgia and the UG School. The team was composed of 7 excellent students.

The qualifying round started in February 2019 as part of the UG School Cambridge program. The competition was open to any student of the school who has already turned 13 years old.

"UG School tries to encourage students in different ways every year, this year we decided to fund the 7 best students to participate in the scientific tournament planned at the Phillips Exeter Academy. Opening new opportunities for our students at the international level is our priority at this stage.
