Levan Gigineishvili, a professor of philosophy and doctor of philology, was invited to the UG school on November 9 in honor of Ilia Chavchavadze's birthday. The subject for the open lecture was "Ilia Chavchavadze as a public figure."

Mr. Levan highlighted Ilia Chavchavadze's national-state action in the context of Georgian history throughout the presentation. All of the significant facets of his social and cultural life were emphasized by him.

The meeting concluded with the visitor responding to the students' inquiries and thanking the students  for coming.
