Department of Natural Sciences

The Department of Natural Sciences works in a coordinated manner and unites teachers of Natural Sciences (Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Physics).

• The Department is guided by the regulations of the UG School Department, takes into consideration the internal regulations of the school and is based on the National Curriculum.

• Department members meet once a month;

• Choose both certified and additional textbooks;

• Plan different types of outreach and in-house school events throughout the year.

• The members of the department constantly take care of self-development, guide the teaching process with modern teaching methods and are informed about the news.

• Collaborate with various educational institutions, share their experience.

• For the purpose of cooperation, the members of the department attend the teaching process of the members of the department, observe and receive feedback within the institute of a critical friend.

• In order to improve the quality of education, the department cooperates with the school quality service and takes into consideration joint approaches.

Department of Natural Sciences - The main task is for students to develop:

• Research skills;

• Interest in scientific research and news;

• Collaborative skills to be able to understand the importance of cooperation for the development of humanity;

• Develop critical thinking and communication skills;

• Understand their place and role in nature and be able to care for the environment;

• Develop the ability of self-evaluation and self-control, listening and evaluating different opinions, being able to determine their place in society;

• Understand the importance of maintaining a safe lifestyle;

• Develop a healthy attitude towards the teaching of the natural sciences and develop an interest in exploring and discovering the world around them.
